The year has flown by in such a jiffy. Earlier this year, we were high school students who yearned for time to slow down so that we could spend more time with the people whom we've spent nearly a decade with. Graduation was bittersweet. It meant that we would no longer go back in our uniforms on that first day of school nor could we have Chicken Wednesdays every Wednesday in our PE uniform. There was going to be a LOT to miss. The school, the teachers, schoolmates and everyone else. But we knew we would always go back. Making the most out of our summer, we had a number of 'laags' as a batch.  College has really been going better than I expected. For now, I guess. Haha. I've been enjoying the company of my new-found college friends and school work hasn't been so over-pressuring. YET. I'm really glad I was able to make more friends over the past two weeks and I'm also glad that I am still able to catch up with all the lessons. That is, except for engineering graphics. Imagine how tedious drawing lines without rulers can be. I physically got dizzy after three tiresome straight hours of them. Haha! Oh well, part of life.  WHEW. WHEW. WHEW. I cannot believe and I am so thankful that I survived the first week of college. It's been more of a culture shock for me since I've lived most of my life in a sheltered place I call my second home. And so, I can't help but miss the comforts of it. I've been attached to my teachers there and Bethany in general. I miss speaking English since the culture around me is really different from what I grew up with. Hence, change and adjustment.
